This is a collection of some of my favourite images from around the city.

Taipei 101 New Years Eve
Every New Year’s Eve Taipei City puts on a dazzling fireworks display featuring Taipei 101 and a whole lot of pyrotechnics.
Taipei 101 – Purple
Continuing my quest to shoot Taipei 101 in every colour from the best viewpoints around Taipei City. Tonight was perfectly clear and Taipei 101 looked spectacular in magenta LED. Only one colour left to add to my collection and it happens to be my favourite colour – BLUE!
Taipei 101 – Green
Every night Taipei 101’s LED’s are a different colour of the rainbow. Monday is red, Tuesday yellow, Wednesday is orange and Thursday is green. Friday is blue, and saturday is pink, Sunday purple. I have photographed each of the colours from different vantage points except for blue. So you can guess which colour I will be posting next…
Taipei 101-2
I perfect sky for shooting some time lapse. Sunset + layers of clouds = interesting.
Luxury Hotel
The W Hotel dominates the skyline from this vantage point with Taipei 101 quietly hanging out in the background.
Twilight Taipei
I had to return the spot I was at the other night to get a picture with my usual camera and lens (5D Mark2 & 24mm TS), not my iPhone. In this picture you can see Taipei 101 and the W Hotel surrounded my commercial & retail buildings as well as the Taipei World Trade Center.
Missed Opportunity
I don’t usually post pictures taken with my iphone but in this case I had to, my 5D2 was busy time lapsing a different spot. The way the lights looked at this location was almost magical this night.
Taipei 101
Almost surreal up close, Taipei 101 is currently the 2nd tallest office building in the world standing at 509 metres or 1,671 feet.
Rush Hour
Finding an interesting spot to shoot is never far in Taipei City. I took this picture while laying down on a median in the middle of the busy intersection, Keelung & Zhongxiao during rush hour traffic. The officer directs traffic as a commuter waits patiently to cross. In the background you can see Taipei 101, one of the worlds tallest buildings.
