As I’ve posted before sometimes I will return to a location I like more than once depending on the sky. Here are 3 shots of the same bridge slightly different angles, time of day and weather. Which one do you like best?
As per usual, I’m always looking for new places with the best vantage points. I stayed here for a couple of hours, first waiting 30 minutes or so for the light to get better, then to do some time lapse shooting (both day & night).
Here are 2 still frames from the time lapse I shot, day vs night.
This is a collection of some of my favourite images from around the city.
This is a 1 minute trailer for a documentary I produced and filmed called Taiwan Chewing Gum. The film is about Betel Nut Culture in Taiwan. I’ll will post the full 10 minute narrated version of it as soon as possible, I’m entering it in as many film festivals as possible this year so it won’t be until sometime next year that everyone gets to see it unfortunately.
I love shooting Taipei City. There are so many interesting structures , and not just the buildings. Bridges and highways are everywhere giving Taipei a bit of a Gotham City feeling.
Every New Year’s Eve Taipei City puts on a dazzling fireworks display featuring Taipei 101 and a whole lot of pyrotechnics.
Continuing my quest to shoot Taipei 101 in every colour from the best viewpoints around Taipei City. Tonight was perfectly clear and Taipei 101 looked spectacular in magenta LED. Only one colour left to add to my collection and it happens to be my favourite colour – BLUE!
Every night Taipei 101’s LED’s are a different colour of the rainbow. Monday is red, Tuesday yellow, Wednesday is orange and Thursday is green. Friday is blue, and saturday is pink, Sunday purple. I have photographed each of the colours from different vantage points except for blue. So you can guess which colour I will be posting next…
