One of the things I like most about Taipei is that it looks beautiful at night.  The city is well lit with LED lights and signs which make for interesting pictures.  This image was taken near Ximen Market.

Helmet Shop

Which one would you choose?

Which one would you choose?

This 24 hour helmet shop might not seem practical to most, but here in Taipei where just about everyone owns a scooter or motorcycle helmets are in demand 24 hours a day.  And with hundreds to choose from you don’t have to worry about looking like everyone else!

I took this picture just outside of Taipei City, on my way home from the beach.  This picture was also featured by National Geographic in their “Asia Food” editorial in 2012.

Hot Wheels in the City

This bike rental depot is one of 5 in Taipei City.  Found outside the busiest subway stations around the city these beach cruisers are a great way to get around.  Taipei Photographer supports environmentally friendly projects and encourages you to try one of these beauties next time you are near a bicycle depot in Taipei!

This picture was taken at the bike depot on Zhongxiao East Road.Hot Wheels in the City

Taipei Photography features images taken at night in Taipei City Taiwan.  This picture was taken from an elevated vantage point facing south.  The intersection in this image is the very busy corner of Keelung & Zhongxiao.  The camera used was Canon 5D Mk2 with a Canon 24mm TS-E.
